The 306 GTi is a high-performance version of the Peugeot 306, which was a popular small family car produced by French automaker Peugeot between 1993 and 2002. The 306 GTi was first introduced in 1996 and was based on the 306 Rallye, but with a more powerful engine and upgraded suspension. It was powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine producing 167 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. The engine was mated to a five-speed manual gearbox that drove the front wheels. The GTi was equipped with disc brakes on all corners and had a sport-tuned suspension that provided great handling and agility. The 306 GTi was only produced from 1996 to 1999, making it a rare and sought-after hot hatch among enthusiasts today.
